SportPower2 promotes the social inclusion of people and conflict victims with disabilities through sport and income generating activities. The activity also provides technical assistance to people with disabilities’ organizations that advocate for, and provide rehabilitation care to, community members with disabilities. SportPower2 is being implemented in Antioquia, Caquetá, Magdalena and Santander and runs from July 2018-June 2022.

The Peaceful and Productive Atrato Activity will help the Greater Community Council of the Atrato River (COCOMACIA) develop and update its internal strategic planning tools, improve its community radio station, and foster citizen engagement in peacebuilding. It is one of USAID/Colombia’s first ever activities directly implemented by an Afro-Colombian or indigenous organization.

The Indigenous Peoples and Afro-Colombian Empowerment Activity (IPACE) continues USAID’s long alliance with indigenous and Afro-Colombian communities, otherwise referred to as ethnic communities in Colombia.  IPACE contributes to indigenous and Afro-Colombians communities’ self-determined development by strengthening ethnic organizations’ institutional and advocacy capacity.

The Inter-Ethnic Alliance for Peace Activity strengthens Indigenous and Afro-descendant communities’ advocacy, self-governance, organizational and leadership capacities.  The Inter-Ethnic Alliance for Peace Activity is implemented in Cesar, Chocó and La Guajira, and it runs from January 2021 to December 2023.

Cacao Connects works with cacao-producing communities to build trust, inclusion, and shared norms needed to improve local governance and foster economic development. Cacao Connects is implemented in Apartadó, Dabeiba, Necoclí, and Turbo (Antioquia), and it runs from May 2019 to May 2024.
